The title of this blog comes from a man named Dennis. You see, when I returned from my mission I worked doing cement construction for about two months before I started school. One of the guys I worked with was a beaten down, hard labor, hard livin', rough edge guy named Dennis. Now, Dennis didn't say much other than we were doing work that killed his back and that he was living in his car. However, one morning when we jumped in the dump truck to drive to the job site, I said, "good morning Dennis" and he looked straight ahead put his hat over his face and slouched in the seat and said, "just another day in paradise". That phrase stuck with me and I was determined to find paradise. One of those areas of paradise in life - I believe - is riding with friends on two wheels up a canyon road. That is paradise. So this title is a tribute to you Dennis, wherever you are, I hope today was just that - another day in paradise.

  1. I look forward to sharing. I'll still never forget looking at your yellow Rocky Mountain back in 2001/2002 and thinking "I wonder what road riding is all about". Then, thanks to you, you got me rolling on a roadie. Fun memories!! Thx for the introduction to riding. I have nothing but good memories, that go way back!!!
